Councillors are hereby summoned to attend the meeting of the Extraordinary Strategy Committee, to be held in the Small Meeting Room on:

26th August 2026 at 6pm.

In accordance with Standing Orders, councillors’ contributions shall not exceed 5 minutes without the consent of the Chair.

  1. Apologies for Absence
    To receive and consider apologies for absence.
  1. Declarations of Interest
    To receive any declarations of interest in items on the agenda.
  1. Exclusion of Press and Public

To consider a resolution that under Section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information relating to commercial confidentiality, contractual negotiations, procurement matters, proposed lease arrangements and the financial or business affairs of the Council and third parties.

  1. To receive updates on the following matters and determine any recommendations to full council.
    1. Procurement and Tender Arrangements for the Town Council’s Recreational and Leisure Facilities

To consider the draft Invitation to Tender, the officer report and the observations submitted by Cllr Scade, and determine:

    1. Whether the Invitation to Tender is sufficiently developed to be issued to the market; and
    2. If not, what amendments, supporting documentation and contractual arrangements are required prior to issue.
  1. Future Occupation arrangements at the Recreation Ground

To agree on the following for each user
