After reviewing the submitted plans and supporting documents, the Committee wishes to make the following comments:
– The Committee is happy that the proposed extensions appear to be in keeping with the character and scale of the existing dwelling and the surrounding area.
– The Committee encourages the applicant to ensure that materials used are sympathetic to the existing building and the rural setting, in line with the design guidance set out in the Neighbourhood Plan.
– The Committee requests that any impact on neighbouring properties, particularly in terms of privacy and light, be carefully considered by the planning officer.
– The Committee supports measures that enhance energy efficiency and biodiversity, in accordance with local and national planning policy.
Subject to the above considerations, the Committee raises no objection to the application.
