Norfolk County Council thanks people for their patience while this improvement to Wilderness Lane is carried out.
To allow the work to be carried out swiftly and safely lane closures will be necessary from 23 July 2021 till 16 August 2021, temporary traffic lights will allow traffic to move safely past the works.
Full road closures to through traffic will be in place from 16 August 2021 for 5 days from 7.30am till 7.30pm each day, to allow the road to be resurfaced, and temporary classrooms to be lifted onto the school site. A fully signed official diversion route will be place. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and access to homes and businesses will be maintained.
Due to the nature of the work there will be times when sections of the road and pavement, including vehicular accesses to properties, will be temporarily unavailable. Anyone who has any specific access requirements can speak to the team on site, so these can be accommodated wherever possible.
