ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 16A, AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994
HARLESTON FUTURE ANNUAL FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL HARLESTON
SATURDAY 2ND OCTOBER 2021 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. ORDER temporarily prohibiting the use by vehicles of Exchange Street
(U76018) from the junction with Old Market Place (U76016) to the junction with The Thoroughfare (C571) in HARLESTON (“the Road”)
2. The Norfolk County Council, as Traffic Authority for Norfolk, is satisfied that the holding of the Harleston Future Annual Food & Drink Festival is required to take place along the Road and that in consequence traffic over the Road should be prohibited on 2nd October 2021 for the duration of Harleston Future Annual Food & Drink Festival, expected to be between 07:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs
3. Nothing in Article 2 of this Order shall apply:
a) to anything done with the permission, or at the direction, of a police constable in uniform
b) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker, in an emergency which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of the Road
4. Insofar as any provisions of this Order conflict with any provisions of any previous Order relating to the Road, the provisions of this Order shall prevail
The Norfolk County Council HEREBY ORDERS that on 2nd October 2021 for the duration of the Harleston Future Annual Food & Drink Festival the use of the Road by vehicles shall be PROHIBITED
