The role is to facilitate communication between police and our communities and provide updates across these areas with all the latest news, witness appeals, police engagements, campaigns and Police recruitment, utilising both traditional and online media, including our social media platforms of Facebook, Twitter, Next Door and E-shot. We also co-ordinate and support our Neighbourhood Watch and Community Speedwatch Teams, our Special Constabulary, Police Support Volunteers and Police Cadets. We act as a liaison for our key individual community contacts and monitor events and incidents which can cause tensions and concerns within the community. Additionally, we co-ordinate local and county-wide engagements, such as the Emergency Service Village at the Royal Norfolk Show.
