Everyone in town is looking forward the the Jubilee Celebrations over the weekend kicking off with a fantastic ‘Parade of Flags’ from the Market Place to the Recreation Ground at 9.30am on Saturday. Organisations from all over Harleston have been involved in decorating flags from the local schools to residents in our local nursing homes all getting creative to produce an amazing colourful spectacular.
The Town Council has also got in on the act with the help from our friends over the road!
The Town Council would like to thank the great efforts from the talented pupils at the Archbishop Sancroft High School for creating the fabulous pictures that appear on the flag and to Retro Alley for the printing.
Harleston will be starting the weekends celebrations in style with the Parade of Flags which will then be displayed around the multi use sports area for everyone to view throughout the festivities.
