NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the A143 Yarmouth Road from 150m northeast of its junction with C533 Wardley Hill Road for 50m north-eastwards in the PARISH OF ELLINGHAM because of new connection work.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 19:00 to 06:00 from 28th to 29th July 2022 for the duration of the works expected to be about 2 days within the period.
Alternative route is via: A143 – Yarmouth Road, Broome Bypass, Bungay Road, Old Railway Road, Harleston Bypass, High Road, Brockdish Needham Bypass, Scole Road, Lower Street, Scole Stuston Bypass, A140 – Scole Bypass, Dickleburgh Bypass, Scole Dickleburgh Bypass, Ipswich Road, The Street, Norwich Road, Southern Bypass Roundabout, A47 Trunk Road, A146 – Loddon Road, Loddon Bypass, Beccles Road, A143 Yarmouth Road (Chedgrave, Burston and Shimpling, Bungay, Stoke Holy Cross, Ditchingham, Newton Flotman, Swainsthorpe, Wortwell, Needham, Redenhall with Harleston, Ellingham, Pulham Market, Tivetshall, Holverston, Brome and Oakley, Trowse with Newton, Stockton, Stuston, Thurton ,Bergh Apton, Kirby Bedon, Yelverton, Loddon, Sisland, Alburgh, Saxlingham Nethergate, Dickleburgh and Rushall, Denton, Earsham, Wacton, Hellington, Broome, Kirby Cane, Long Stratton, Keswick and Intwood, Gillingham, Ashby St. Mary, Caistor St. Edmund and Bixley, Scole, Hales, Framingham Pigot, Brockdish, Tasburgh).
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
