General Information
Due to new Government Legislation, The Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus)(Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings)(England and Wales) Regulations 2020 (LAPCP Regulations 2020), this Town Council’s Standing Orders will be updated to allow the use of remote meetings while social distancing is in place at the next appropriate meeting.

4. Matters arising from previous minutes
Rescinding of Resolution from 18th December 2019 by Full Town Council. That in accordance with Standing Order 7 (a) the Town Clerk having received a motion signed by six Councillors to rescind the following resolution
To resolve to agree to seek the approval of the secretary of state for Housing, Communities & Local government to apply for a PWLB loan of £87,885.00 over the borrowing term of 10 years for the purpose of the replacement of the current streetlight lanterns by new LED lanterns.
having been advised by the Town Clerk of an alternative method of borrowing which is interest-free, and which will provide a maximum loan of £52,820, and to replace it with the revised Resolution:
To resolve to agree to seek the approval of the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government for a loan of £52,820 via Salix, over the borrowing term of 5 years, for the purpose of the replacement of 217 streetlight lanterns with new LED lanterns. The annual loan repayments will be £10,564
To resolve that the remaining £35,065 replacement cost will be funded by General Fund Reserves
