Celebration of Harleston – Saturday March 11th

On Saturday March 11th we have a wonderful all day event planned to Celebrate Harleston please view the Celebrate Harleston poster for more information.

This family fun day will start from 10am on the Marketplace.

Throughout the day there will be plenty of family fun activities and entertainment for you to enjoy from bubbles, face painting, hair braiding, stilt walkers and much more.

Music is provided throughout the day by the Harleston Breakfast Show – Dave Hoffman and there will also be singing from Sancroft Academy Primary Phase Choir, Station 366 and Sam Norfolk.

Running alongside this event we are supporting Nature Recover Plans.  Pupils at the Sancroft Academy Primary Phase have been making hundreds of butterfly cut outs to be assembled into a giant mobile to be displayed in St Johns Church, the Church will be open from 9.30am on the day.

We are also lucky enough to have Norwich Museum Services in attendance at the Church with object handling and artefacts from in and around Harleston, this running alongside our own Harleston Museum being open.

Norwich Museum is also bringing their exciting Medieval Knight Club to town so that our children (and adults) can experience sword fighting and more in a safe environment, https://www.museums.norfolk.gov.uk/norwich-castle/whats-on/events/knight-club
