Christmas Market & Lights Switch On in Harleston – Saturday 4th December 2021
Christmas is fast approaching and the Christmas Lights committee, Harleston’s Future and many other volunteer groups have been preparing for this year’s festivities. There will be market stallholders and entertainment which is sure to draw residents and visitors to the town on the day. Christmas is a great time for business and we hope that they will help to make the day a great success by staying open all day.
The Christmas Market will start once the stalls have set up and will continue until after the lights switch on which will take place at 17.30hrs.
I wanted to advise you that there will be road closures on the day and only emergency vehicles will be able to use the roads during the closure period.
From 7.30hrs to 19.00hrs – The Market Place and Exchange Street will be closed to traffic.
From 14.40hrs to 19.00hrs – Church Street; London Road (between Exchange Street and Church Street); The Thoroughfare (between Church Street and Bullock Fair Close) will also be closed to traffic.
