Notice of making of a Temporary Traffic Restriction Continuation Order
NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the C361 Low Road from its junction with B1116 Shotford Road north eastwards to its junction with C566 Mendham Lane in the TOWN OF REDENHALL WITH HARLESTON because of River Waverney flooding issues having undermined the carriageway.
This Order continues the provisions of the Order dated 25th June 2021 that the road will be temporarily closed (except for access) and the restriction will now continue in effect from 19th January to 18th June 2022 (previously 18th January 2021 to 18th January 2022) for the duration of the works expected to be about 150 days within the period.
Alternative route is via: Mendham Lane, A143 Harleston Bypass, Mendham Lane, Spirketts Lane, Shotford Road.
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order)
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
