NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (WOODTON) (EMERGENCY NOTICE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION 2021 Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 – Section 14(2)
In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to a burst water main the use by vehicles of the B1527 Short New Road from 214m south of its junction with C371 Shotesham Road for 20m southwards in the PARISH OF WOODTON will be temporarily prohibited from 6th to 10th December 2021 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 5 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.
Alternative route is via: B1527 Church Road, B1332 Norwich Road, A143 Bungay Road, A143 Old Railway Road, A143 Harleston Bypass, A143 High Road, A143 Brockdish Needham Bypass, A143 Scole Road, A143 Lower Street, A143 Scole Stuston Bypass, A140 Scole Bypass, A140 Dickleburgh Roundabout, A140 Ipswich Road, A140 The Street, B1527 Hempnall Road, B1527 Mill Road, B1527 Bungay Road, B1527 Hempnall Road, B1527 Short New Road (Bedingham, Hedenham, Burston & Shimpling, Bungay, Woodton, Ditchingham, Wortwell, Needham, Redenhall with Harleston, Topcroft, Pulham Market, Tivetshall, Brome & Oakley, Stuston, Alburgh, Dickleburgh & Rushall, Denton, Earsham, Wacton, Morningthorpe & Fritton, Hempnall, Long Stratton, Scole, Brockdish).

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
