Remembrance Sunday
Join us on Sunday, 10th November 2024, for the Remembrance Parade and wreath-laying ceremony to honour those who lost their lives in all conflicts. The parade will start at 10:30 AM from Exchange Street and proceed to The War Memorial for the wreath-laying and remembrance service. All are welcome to the Remembrance Day Service at St John’s Church afterward.
We’re honoured to have Deputy Lieutenant of Norfolk, Mrs. Phillippa Taylor, leading the parade.
Details
10.15am – the parade will form up in Harleston on Exchange Street and The Market Place
10.30am – The parade will then be set off down the Thoroughfare and turn into Broad Street and proceed to The War Memorial for the wreath laying ceremony and act of remembrance.
11.30am – Remembrance Day Service at St John’s Church.
Armistice Day
We also welcome you to join us on Monday, 11th November at 10:45 AM at The War Memorial for a 2 minute silence at 11.00am to observe Armistice Day.
