Hello and welcome to our community newsletter. First of all I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and wish everyone the very best in 2024.
We like to provide updates to local residents regarding our development to keep you up to date and to ensure this is delivered with minimal impact to you by providing information regarding forthcoming events and activities.
General Development Update
The development is well under way and we have now asphalted the first sections of estate roads. The weather has not helped but we are doing everything we can to progress these works.
We are planning to start works to the drainage connection of the site which exits out of the Lidl entrance. This will commence on the 8th January and unfortunately this will bring with it some disruption. I hope that you can bear with us with this but this is problematic due to bringing the foul connection out of site and to the existing connection in Fullers Road. We have worked hard on design and producing a plan to try and mitigate the disruption as much as possible but realistically there will be some disruption and we are empathetic with your frustration but lay thanks for your support and patience during these periods.
Site would expect over the month of January/ February a slight increase in deliveries due to more floor beams arriving as well as drainage and obviously the regular bricks and blocks etc. We will of course do our best to keep disruption to a minimum.
Our show homes are now all roofed in and we expect by April that we are in a position to be able to open the doors to the public.
Other measures we have taken as mentioned before. Where possible we have tried to bund areas which lead onto residential areas to dampen down noise and also protection against dust.
It really has not been a nice end to the year with the weather and production has suffered. We hope to really gain momentum in the new year and hopefully by the next time I write we shall have some more welcoming weather.
I shall write again in the spring but if I get any information which may be of interest I shall endeavour to pass on. With an interim Newsletter.

Dangers of Building Sites
We would like to remind our neighbours of how dangerous building sites can be.
We will of course ensure the perimeter of our site is secured at all times, and we will eliminate on site hazards where possible.
However, we would kindly request parents to inform their children of how dangerous it is to enter a building site without permission even when we are not working.
There will be numerous vehicle movements around our site and our site entrance will be used throughout the day. Please take extra care if you are passing the entrance, please follow direction from our gateman and please utilise our designated pedestrian routes should you need to visit the site office.
