NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the B1527 Hempnall Road from 561m west of its junction with U76027 Boylandhall Lane for 100m westwards in the PARISH OF MORNINGTHORPE AND FRITTON because of NCC carriageway patching works.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 1st to 2nd August 2022 for the duration of the works expected to be about 2 days within the period.
Alternative route is via: B1527 Hempnall Road/Mill Road/Bungay Road/Short New Road/Church Road/Norwich Road, A143 Bungay Road/Old Railway Road/Harleston Bypass/High Road/Brockdish Needham Bypass/Grove Road/Scole Road/Lower Street/Scole Stuston Bypass, A140 Scole Bypass/Dickleburgh Bypass/Ipswich Road/The Street/Norwich Road, B1527 Hempnall Road (Bedingham, Hedenham, Burston and Shimpling, Bungay, Woodton, Ditchingham, Wortwell, Needham, Redenhall with Harleston, Topcroft, Pulham Market, Tivetshall, Brome and Oakley, Stuston, Alburgh, Dickleburgh and Rushall, Denton, Earsham, Wacton, Morningthorpe and Fritton, Hempnall, Long Stratton, Scole, Brockdish).
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
