The Town Council are pleased to announce the ‘refusal’ of a planning application for the erection of 110 dwellings and the formation of new vehicular access on land south of Redenhall Road, Harleston, Norfolk.
The appeal was dismissed on 28 March.
The Inspector commented:
‘On 17 October 2022 the Redenhall with Harleston Neighbourhood Plan (the RHNP) was adopted by South Norfolk Council. It now forms part of the development plan as set out in the LPAs appeal statement. I also have before me lengthy submissions from Redenhall and Harleston Town Council including reference to RHNP policies. The appellant has had opportunity to comment on these appeal submissions as part of their final comments submitted on 14 December 2022. Accordingly, I am satisfied no party would be prejudiced by my consideration of those RHNP policies cited by the LPA and Town Council.’
