NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the B1527 Bungay Road from 65m south of its junction with C367 The Street for 150m south-eastwards in the PARISH OF HEMPNALL because of BT cabling and duct works.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 29th November to 3rd December 2021 for the duration of the works expected to be about 5 days within the period.
Alternative route is via: B1527 Bungay Road/Mill Road/Hempnall Road, A140 Norwich Road/The Street/Ipswich Road/Tivetshall Road/Scole Dickleburgh Bypass/ Dickleburgh Bypass/Scole Bypass, A143 Scole Stuston Bypass/Lower Street/Bungay Road/Scole Road/Brockdish Needham Bypass/High Road/Harleston Bypass/Old Railway Road/Bungay Road, B1332 Norwich Road, B1527 Church Road, Short New Road, Hempnall Road, Bungay Road (Bedingham, Hedenham, Burston and Shimpling, Bungay, Woodton, Ditchingham, Wortwell, Needham, Redenhall with Harleston, Topcroft, Pulham Market, Tivetshall, Brome and Oakley, Stuston, Alburgh, Dickleburgh and Rushall, Denton, Earsham, Wacton, Morningthorpe and Fritton, Hempnall, Long Stratton, Scole, Brockdish)
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
