This is a new initiative for the Town Council, and we are grateful for u3a Harleston & Districts support for our vibrant flower planters which play an integral role in beautifying our town centre, creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors alike. u3a Harleston & District is part of a UK-wide organisation of over 1,000+ charities that provide the opportunity for those no longer in full-time work to come together and learn for fun. They have a monthly meeting at St John’s Church when an invited speaker gives their talk. They also have a programme of interest groups which run throughout each month.
