Following acknowledgement of the Town Council’s report by County Councillor Joe Kerrison, we have received assurances that the concerns raised with both Norfolk County Council and OCU Group are being taken seriously.
OCU Group has advised that both the quality of the reinstatement works and the conduct of operatives will be reviewed, and Norfolk County Council will be undertaking inspections of the completed works. We have also been advised that, should inspections identify any defects, the necessary remedial works will be undertaken.
These are important infrastructure improvements that will bring long-term benefits to the town, and we thank everyone for their patience while the works are completed.
