Hedge work took place on Tuesday 24 May on the site relating to planning application 2019/2115 – Land Off Station Hill, Harleston Norfolk.
The police have now fully investigated this matter and have confirmed that this work was completed due to safety reasons as that part of the fence that is within the bramble hedge along the boundary had come down and was in the highway.
For this reason only, it was necessary to remove the damaged fencing which could only be completed by removal of the bramble hedge.
There will be no police action required, and the agent acknowledges that it was with regret that this work was necessary during the nesting season but a visual inspection did take place in advance of the work and confirmed a new fence will be being installed very soon.
