You are cordially invited to attend a meeting of Redenhall with Harleston Town Council  which will be held at the Social Room, Memorial Leisure Centre, on Wednesday 5th October 2022 at 7.00pm to consider the business detailed below. There will be an opportunity for public participation agenda item 6.

1) Welcome followed by a minute’s silence

2) To receive and consider accepting apologies from members unable to attend

3) To receive declarations of pecuniary or any other interests

4) To approve the minutes of the last Town Council meeting on Wednesday 24th August 2022

5) Matters arising from previous meeting – 24th August 2022

6) The meeting will be adjourned for public participation for no longer than 10 minutes and for discussion on agenda items only

7) The meeting will be adjourned for public participation on their views of the style of street furniture that should be placed in the town (time allocated to be at the discretion of the Chair of the Town Council)

8) Discussion and comments regarding the three styles of street furniture.

9) Each member of the Town Council to provide their vote by way of a show of hands-on which style of Street Furniture they would like to be selected for the Town Centre.

10) Finance

a) To receive an update on monthly income and expenditure (Month 5)
b) To approve items of expenditure invoiced since the last meeting

11) To note South Norfolk Council have gifted the trees taken from the old planters that were placed in the town when covid restrictions were put in place to the Town Council at no cost.

12) To agree a new councillor for representation on the Christmas Lights working party and note the Clerks membership.

13) To consider in principle the Town Council organising an event for the Coronation subject to the release of further details.

14) Recommendations for Town Council approval.

a) Town Clerk to provide a Christmas Lights working party update and to request approval from the Town Council to utilise the Christmas Lights EMR subject to the final approval from the Finance Committee.
b) To agree that the ‘Reopening of the Town’ working party should be dissolved.
