REDENHALL WITH HARLESTON – Upcoming temporary closure of Mendham Lane to facilitate new gas connection (REF STRO10314)

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (STRO10314) affecting the Mendham Lane from its junction with Fuller Road north to its junction with Kestrel Close for 70m northwards in the TOWN OF REDENHALL WITH HARLESTON to facilitate new gas connection.

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 11th March to 5th April 2024 for the duration of the works expected to be about 26 days within the period.

Alternative route is via: Clockwise; Old Market Place, Church Street, The Thoroughfare, Redenhall Road, Harleston Bypass, Mendham Lane. Anti- Clockwise; Mendham Lane – Harleston Bypass – Redenhall Road – Broad Street – Old Market.

If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order.

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
