NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the A146 Loddon Bypass from its junction with C395 High Bungay Road for 1700m north-westwards in the PARISH OF LODDON because of surfacing works of new roundabout, new road markings and installation of road signs.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from: 1) 20:00 on 18th March to 05:00 on 21st March 2022; 2) 20:00 on 25th March to 05:00 on 28th March 2022; 3) 20:00 on 1st April to 05:00 on 4th April 2022; and 4) 20:00 on 8th April to 05:00 on 11th April 2022 (weekends only) for the duration of the works expected to be about 12 days within the period.
Alternative route is via: A146 Loddon Bypass/Norwich Road/Loddon Road, A47 Trunk Road, A140 Ipswich Road/Norwich Road/The Street/Ipswich Road/Dickleburgh Bypass/Scole Bypass, A143 Scole Stuston Bypass/Bungay Road/Lower Street/Scole Road/Brockdish Needham Bypass/Grove Road/High Road/Harleston Bypass/Bungay Road/Old Railway Road/Bungay Road/Broome Bypass/Yarmouth Road, A146 Norwich Road/Beccles Road (Chedgrave, Burston and Shimpling, Bungay, Stoke Holy Cross, Ditchingham, Newton Flotman, Swainsthorpe, Wortwell, Needham, Redenhall with Harleston, Ellingham, Pulham Market, Tivetshall, Holverston, Brome and Oakley, Trowse with Newton, Stockton, Stuston, Thurton, Bergh Apton, Kirby Bedon, Yelverton, Loddon, Sisland, Alburgh, Saxlingham Nethergate, Dickleburgh and Rushall, Denton, Earsham, Wacton, Hellington, Broome, Kirby Cane, Long Stratton, Keswick and Intwood, Ashby St Mary, Caistor St Edmund and Bixley, Scole, Alpington, Hales, Framingham Pigot, Brockdish, Tasburgh).
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
