About a year ago, Norfolk County Council Highways, through their Parish Partnership Scheme, approved the addition of bollards to discourage illegal parking on the Market Place. This work is now set to begin.
Start Date: Monday, 7th July Minimal Disruption: The holes will be hand-dug, meaning aside from some noise, the impact should be minimal. Duration: The work is expected to take 2 to 3 days, with progress reviewed at the end of Tuesday 8th July. Market Day Consideration: This review ensures the area remains accessible for Wednesday’s market.This initiative aims to preserve the character and accessibility of Market Place while addressing ongoing parking concerns.
