NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (STRO10302) affecting 1) B1116 Shotford Road from its junction with the C571 London Road for 500m southwards; and 2) C571 Needham Road from its junction with the B1136 Shotford Road for 100m south-westwards in the TOWN OF REDENHALL WITH HARLESTON to facilitate Norfolk County Council resurfacing works.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 28th January to 4th February 2024 for the duration of the works expected to be about 8 days within the period.
Alternative route is via:
1) B1116 Shortford Road, Wells Lane, Harleston Bypass, Needham Road.
2) Clockwise – London Road, The Thoroughfare, Broad Street, Old Market Place, Mendhan Lane, A143 Harleston Bypass, High Road, Needham Road.
Anti Clockwise – Needham Road, High Road, A143 Harleston Bypass, Mendham Lane, Old Market Place, Church Street, London Road (Redenhall with Harleston, Needham)
If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order.
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
