Norfolk County Council Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2022 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 16a as Amended by The Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994
In the Borough/Town/Parish of Redenhall with Harleston CP on 18th June 2023 to 18th June 2023 for 17 hours Temporary Restriction of Traffic Movement
1. ORDER temporarily restricting the use by vehicles of the: The Thoroughfare, Church Street and Exchange Street in the BOROUGH/TOWN/PARISH OF Redenhall with Harleston CP.
2. Save as provided in Article 3 of this Order and whereas the Norfolk County Council as Traffic Authority for the Administrative County of Norfolk is satisfied that the staging of the Antiques Fair and Evening Party community event, is required, to proceed along the Antiques Fair and Evening Party community event, (hereinafter referred to as the said road) in the BOROUGH/TOWN/PARISH OF Redenhall with Harleston CP and that in consequence, traffic over the said road should be restricted on 18th June 2023 to 18th June 2023 for 17 hours.
3. Nothing in Article 2 of this Order shall apply:
1. to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.
2. to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory
undertaken in an emergency which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which
this Order applies.
4. Insofar as any provisions of this Order conflicts with any provisions of any previous Order relating to the The Thoroughfare from its junction with London Road to its junction with Swan Lane, Church Street for its entire length and Exchange Street for its entire length (road/lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Order), that provisions of this Order shall prevail.
NOW THEREFORE the Norfolk County Council DO HEREBY ORDER, that with effect from/on 18th June 2023 to 18th
June 2023 for 17 hours the use of the said road SHALL BE RESTRICTED
