The rising cost of living is affecting people across our community, with people reporting they will be unable to switch on the heating on in the coming months. We believe everyone should have a warm and welcoming space to go to this winter.
Team Harleston groups and organisations have come together to open their doors to provide Warm Rooms around Harleston. They have been set up in response to concerns about people in the town becoming isolated, and also the impact of soaring heating bills.
Harleston Town Council are opening the Meeting Room of the Leisure Centre as a ‘Harleston Warm Room’, a free and warm space for people to drop in to during the winter months.
