On 22nd September, the Harleston town sign was removed from its post on the Market Square.
As many of you know, the sign had become unsafe due to being knocked by large vehicles, and enduring several storms over the decades since its installation.
In the few days since its removal, specialist contractors have investigated the concrete plinth and removed its top two layers.

On Wednesday 30th September, at the monthly Town Council meeting, Councillors will be discussing the outcome of the poll and confirm next steps for the town sign.
