Remembrance Parade – Sunday 8th November

Please join us, and the Harleston & District Royal British Legion at the Remembrance Sunday parade and wreath laying ceremony in Harleston on Sunday 8th November.

In this annual ceremony, we remember those who lost their lives on active service in all conflicts; from the beginning of the First World War right up to the present day. We also remember all those who have served and their families.

The parade starts 10.30am from the Market Place, and will be followed by a service at the War Memorial on Broad Street in Harleston.

Joining us at the ceremony will be representatives from over 40 local organisations who have been invited to lay wreaths at the war memorial including The Lord Lieutenant, Redenhall with Harleston Town Council, The Royal British Legion and branches of the military and other service organisations and groups.

Following the wreath laying ceremony, a church service will take place at the London Road Church in Harleston.

On Wednesday 11th November at 10.45am an Armistice Day Service will take place at the War Memorial with a two-minute silence at 11.00am.

We would be honoured by your presence at this important occasion of remembrance and reflection.
