Maintenance works are due to start on Monday 1 May 2023 to resurface the path on the West side of Shotford Road. The work is expected to take 5 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Please see enclosed site location plan showing the area of path being resurfaced.
The work will see the old, damaged path surface completely removed, reconstruction work caried out and a brand-new asphalt surface laid including new kerbs put in place. The work will be carried out Monday – Friday between the hours of 7.30am – 6pm.
In order to safely complete the improvements, temporary traffic lights will be in place to help traffic move safely past the work. Vehicle access to residential properties will be maintained however there may be some short delays as work takes place in front of driveways. Pedestrian access to properties will be maintained at all times.

The work which will cost £50,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
