Members of the public are cordially invited to attend a meeting of Redenhall with Harleston Town Council which will be held in the Social Room, Memorial Hall Leisure Centre, Harleston on Wednesday 19th July 2023 at 7pm to consider the business detailed below.

1. Welcome

2. To receive and consider accepting apologies from members unable to attend.

3. To acknowledge the resignation of the following Councillors

a) Cllr Lizzy Pegg on the 3rd July 2023
b) Cllr Yvette Tyler on the 5th July 2023

4. To receive and note any declarations of members’ pecuniary and/or non-pecuniary/other interests pertaining to items on the following agenda, to note any dispensations granted in respect of business to be discussed and to consider any requests for dispensations.

To consider a resolution under Standing Orders 3e to suspend the meeting to receive reports from the Police, County and District Councillors, and to hear comments from members of the public on items to be discussed on the agenda (the period of designated time for public participation is 20 minutes unless directed by the Chairman of the meeting and individual members of the public are entitled to speak for a maximum of 5 minutes each).

a) To receive and examine the contents of month 3 Income and Expenditure report and formulate and agree any questions for the RFO (copy herewith)

10. To receive the following recommendations from the Leisure Centre Management Committee, meeting held on 12th July 2023.

a) To receive and note the contents of the ‘Toddler Play Area refurbishment’ briefing paper and agree Action Play and Leisure be the supplier and awarded the contract of works (copy herewith)
b) To agree that the project total of £21,509.43 Net be funded using S106 as approved by South Norfolk District Council.

c) To agree CIL and Section 106 working party is included on the Town Council Action Plan.
d) To agree to appointing professional Planning Advisors for the Spirketts Lane North Planning application (Compass Point) at a cost of £800 (copy herewith)

13. Resolution to agree representation on external bodies and confirm the appointments in writing.

14. To receive Harleston War Memorial Wreath Stand Proposal from the RBL and consider approval. (copy herewith)

15. To receive information from Harleston Shed as recommended by the Amenities Committee on the 7th June 2023 regarding the land adjacent to the Fire Station and BT building along Paddock Road and discuss. (All councillors to have completed a site visit as agreed) (copy herewith)

16. To consider taking ownership of the land in order that Harleston Shed can access their site and agree to next steps.

17. To receive a proposal from a resident regarding the extension of double yellow lines on Redenhall Road from Candlers Lane, supported by Cllr Martin Wilby. Agree for the Town Council to support for the proposal. (copy herewith)

18. To receive and approve the Terms of Reference for the Christmas Market and Lights Switch on working party (copy herewith).
