In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to BT pole replacement works the use by vehicles of the C209 Low Road/Hallwong Lane from 50m west of its junction with U76150 Green Lane for 100m eastwards in the PARISH OF STARSTON will be temporarily prohibited on 1st September 2023 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 1 day within the period. If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 5 days.
Alternative route is via: Hallwong Lane, Dicky Hill , Station Hill Station Road,Redenhall Road. A143 Harleston Bypass, Needham Road, London Road, Wilderness Lane, Swan Lane, The Street, Starston Road, Harleston Road Low Road (Redenhall with Harleston, Needham, Starston).
Access to be given to Green Lane from its junction with Wood Lane up to the points of closure.
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
