The Flood and Water Management Officer shared an important announcement regarding an upcoming conference organized by CPRE Norfolk on May 22nd at Dereham Memorial Hall. This conference aims to provide invaluable advice and guidance to parish councils on mitigating the risk of flooding in their local areas.
Housing and Benefits Update:
The Head of Housing and Benefits provided an update on the ongoing review of the allocations policy. The primary focus is on enhancing access to affordable housing, be it new constructions or existing social housing. The proposed policy will undergo a comprehensive four-week consultation period to gather feedback and insights.
