Norfolk County Council has made a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (the “Order”) (STRO11389) affecting the Redenhall with Harleston Footpath FP38 from its junction with U76598 Candlers Lane for 168m westwards (the “Footpath”) in the Town of Redenhall with Harleston owing to safety concerns due to an unstable wall along the footpath. The Order continues the provision of the Notice dated 26th July 2024 that the Footpath will be temporarily closed for the period the closure is necessary which is anticipated to be from 13th August to 23rd October 2024 (previously 23rd July to 12th August 2024), but may continue to be closed/restricted until the 21st January 2025 where the closure/restriction is still required beyond the anticipated dates.
Alternative route is via: N/A.
The Order shall automatically revoke when the closure/restriction is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 21st January 2025 without further notice.
If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 6 months from the date the first Notice was effective.
A person who contravenes, or who uses the Footpath in contravention of the closure imposed by the Order shall be guilty of an offence.
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
