Temporary Restriction of Traffic Movement
Norfolk County Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the Harleston Remembrance Parade event, they intend to make a Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic on the:
- C571 London Road from its junction 7P161 Magpie Court to its junction with C571 The Throughfare; and
- C571 The Throughfare from its junction with C571 London Road to its junction with C571 Redenhall Road; and
- C571 Redenhall Road from its junction with C571 The Throughfare to its junction with C363 Station Road; and
- U76017 Broad Street from its junction with C571 Redenhall Road to its
junction with 76016 Old Market Place; and - U76017 Church Street from its junction with U76016 Old Market Place to its
junction with C571 The Throughfare; and - U76016 Old Market Place from its junction with U76017 Broad Street to its
junction with 76018 Exchange Street; and - U76018 Exchange Street from its junction with U76016 Old Market Place to its junction with C571 London Road; and
- C877 Swan Lane from its junction with C571 The Throughfare for 25m westwards;
in the PARISH OF HARLESTON.
The Order will come into effect on 10th November 2024 and will remain in force for 1 and half hours. The road will be temporarily restricted (except for emergency and pedestrian access) between 10:00 and 11:30 on the 10th November 2024 for the duration of the event. Restriction on traffic will only be enforced until normal traffic flow can be maintained.
Where appropriate during the period of the closure temporary suspension of existing permanent Traffic Orders may be imposed
Alternative route will be via: C571 Redenhall Road, A143 Harleston Bypass, C565 Mendham Lane Spricketts Lane
The promoter of the event is Harleston Town Council
