We’re sorry to report that after many fun years of activity, the Jolly Gerald see-saw in the recreation ground playground is no longer safe for playing on, and will be removed. We’ve engaged with the Harleston Community Playground & Recreation Association, who were responsible for Jolly Gerald’s original installation, to discuss his replacement.
The climbing wall is also currently out of use, and is awaiting repair. We’ll let you know when the wall has been re-opened.
It’s fantastic that we’re still seeing lots of children making use of our excellent playground facilities, despite the weather! Carry on having fun, but please make sure to avoid Gerald and the climbing wall!
