To care for our trees and make sure the Recreation Ground stays a safe and welcoming space, Plantscape will be on-site to carry out some tree maintenance on Thursday 19th February. While this work is carried out, the slide, BMX track and zip wire will be temporarily closed. The rest of the play area remains open as normal.
We sincerely apologise that this work is taking place during half term. We appreciate this isn’t ideal, but we are grateful the contractor is able to attend promptly so the work can be completed as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and patience while this is carried out.
Further scheduled works (including a partial car park closure to reduce the crown of the large oak) are planned for 3rd and 4th March. We will share more details closer to the time.
