Please be informed that part of the car park at the Recreation Ground and play area will be closed on Wednesday 4th March 2026, while we complete further tree maintenance.
To care for our trees and make sure the Recreation Ground stays a safe and welcoming space, Plantscape will be returning on Wednesday 4th March to complete the tree maintenance work that was started in February.
While this work is carried out, several spaces in the car park will be sectioned off and unavailable to use, and some areas of the playground will be out of action for the day.
If you’re planning on visiting the Leisure Centre or Recreation Ground during the day, please consider car sharing, walking or using other methods of transport to avoid problems parking.
Thank you for your understanding and patience while this is carried out.
