Are you concerned about speeding vehicles in the town?

We hear you.

At the Annual Town Meeting in May, a resident asked what we’re doing about speeding and we’ve seen many comments on social media regarding this issue.

So we’d like to re-establish a Community Speed Watch scheme in Harleston.

The scheme is volunteer-run, so we’re looking for a minimum of six people who are able to commit a few hours each month to help implement the scheme.

Once we’ve got a full team of volunteers, the Town Council will set-up the programme with the Norfolk Constabulary, and organise for full training and equipment to be provided.

If you’re interested in taking part in this scheme to help create a safer community, please get in touch.
