The Town Council has escalated a complaint to Norfolk County Council (NCC) that was received from a Harleston business owner regarding the management of the roadworks on London Road and the impact they are having on the town’s businesses.
We share the business owner’s concerns regarding the traffic management arrangements and recognise the impact they are having on both local residents and businesses.
The complaint has been forwarded to our colleagues in Norfolk County Council’s Highways department, who provided an update at the roadworks meeting held at The Swan in April. We have also forwarded it to Joe Kerrison, our new County Councillor, who has passed it on to his colleagues in the Infrastructure department.
We will update you on NCC’s response as soon as we are able to.
