You are cordially invited to attend a meeting of Redenhall with Harleston Town Council Finance Committee which will be held at the Town Council Offices, on Wednesday 17th November 2021 at 6.30pm to consider the business detailed below.

Members of the public are welcome to attend but spaces are limited due to Covid 19 restrictions. Attendance must be booked in advance via clerk@harleston-tc.gov.uk in order to gain admission.

AGENDA

1. Welcome

2. To receive apologies from members unable to attend

3. To receive declarations of pecuniary or any other interests

4. To approve the minutes of the Finance Committee – 19th October 2021

5. Update on matters arising from the minutes of the last meeting

6. The Meeting will be adjourned for public participation for items to be discussed on the agenda only (maximum 10 minutes)

7. Councillor reports

8. To consider the Income and Expenditure report

9. To consider the recommendation of the Amenities Committee to spend £975 plus VAT for the Harleston Clock Tower – Structural Survey Fee Quotation from the EMR 336 Clock Tower.

10. To consider the combined draft budgets

11. To review the Administration earmarked reserves

12. To note approval by South Norfolk Council for the use of S106 funds for the £5274 cost of fan units (LCMC)

13. To consider the received grant applications;

a. Girl Guiding UK for £263 for cooking equipment.
b. HIP for £6,000 to go towards core costs: rent, utilities, and salaries.
c. Park Radio £5,779 to set up a studio and reception branch so that they are on the spot for local people, community organisations and businesses.
d. Historical Society £260 to pay for the rent of the Museum building.

14. To receive the payments list and approve outstanding payments.

15. To receive any significant correspondence and ratify any action required

a. Claire Myers-Lampety request for £500 to hire a piano (inc delivery to St Johns) and to cover a performance by pianist Beatice Nicholas for a Christmas 2021 event. (Received and refused due to the grant awarding policy regulations)

16. To approve the date of the next meeting – Wednesday 15th December at 6.30pm
