Early on Wednesday 28th October, a queue of eager residents began forming ahead of the grand opening of Harleston’s newest shop!
Councillor Paul Mba was delighted to cut the ribbon and officially open the Harleston branch of Quality Discounts (QD).
In his speech, Cllr Mba said,
“Losing the previous shop on London Road earlier this year left a gap in our high street. So seeing this space come back to life with a fantastic independent family-owned retailer like QD is wonderful news for our town.
Not only does this bring a wide range of everyday essentials… it also creates vital new jobs for local people.“
QD is a Norfolk-based business that’s creating new jobs for local people and will help attract more visitors to the town. We’re thrilled to have them here!
QD is situated on London Road, next to Budgens and the petrol station.
